It is so very nice when things go well

Mercedes makes a roof rack basic carrier for the ML350.

A good design, well made. It fits the roof rails nicely. It installs without tools and clamps securely. It locks. Now I just need the Thule cargo carrier to be as good a product and golf clubs and piano will come along on our road trip. Not that I am not thinking about Debbie but she just doesn't have anything that is long and awkward.

What is ALS

Not many people know much about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. Once you learn to spell it and begin looking for information you can find out all you want to know. Some of the best information comes in a series of manuals produced by the ALS Association.

The manuals can be found here. I second the ALS's recommendation. Whether a PALS (Person with ALS), a caregiver, family or friend, only read the manual that is relevant at the time and for the circumstances being experienced. Otherwise you may be overwhelmed.
